Yirra was created to reflect the qualities of the River lamdscape— flow, balance and continuity — through a blend that moves gently between floral, resinous and woody aromatics.

Boronia forms a distinctive part of the blend, contributing a rich, complex floral note unique to Australian flora. This is supported by Blue Gum and Blue Cypress, which add cool, resinous tones and a clean freshness that keeps the blend light and fluid.

Buddha Wood provides depth and warmth at the base, offering a smooth, woody character that grounds the blend without heaviness. Lemon Myrtle sits at the top, adding brightness and clarity to balance the deeper notes and enhance the overall flow of the scent.

The Australian essential oils in this blend are sourced from the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, an area recognised for native plant diversity and essential oil distillation.

Yirra is diluted in sweet almond oil and coconut oil and is intended for use as a personal scent oil or as part of everyday aromatic ritual.

Yirra is a word meaning river in the Yolngu language, spoken by Yolngu people of North-East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.
This blend is named in recognition of the enduring cultural knowledge, languages and land stewardship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of these lands and pay respect to Elders past and present.
