Yala was created to reflect the qualities of the Sky — openness, clarity and space — through a balanced blend of Australian botanicals and complementary essential oils.

Peppermint Gum forms the top of the blend, offering a fresh, cool aromatic note that feels expansive and clear. This is supported by Lemon Myrtle, which contributes a sharp citrus brightness and enhances the overall lift of the scent profile.

To ground the blend, Myrrh and Vetiver provide resinous and earthy depth, preventing the lighter notes from feeling sharp or fleeting. Sage rounds out the blend with a dry, herbaceous tone, helping to create structure and balance between the fresh and grounded elements.

The Australian essential oils used in this blend are sourced from the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, an area recognised for botanical diversity and essential oil distillation.

Yala is diluted in sweet almond oil and coconut oil and is intended for use as a personal scent oil or as part of a simple daily ritual.

Yala is a word meaning sky in the Warlpiri language, spoken by Warlpiri people across parts of the Northern Territory.
This blend is named in recognition of the continuing cultural knowledge, languages and land stewardship of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of these lands and pay respect to Elders past and present.
